PPL means a Private Pilot License. Acquiring this license is the first step towards becoming a pilot, whether you want to fly for fun or you want to take up flying professionally. A PPL license allows you to fly any aircraft weighing up to 5700 Kgs. in weight for non-commercial purposes.
The United Arab Emirates is an ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) member country. A PPL license issued by the U.A.E. GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority) is recognised all over the world.
Training commences with ground school. Students can join anytime for one on-one training in ground school. EAS also follows a batch system for scheduled ground school lectures. The dates for scheduled ground school are reflected on the fight school website: www.emiratesaviationservices.com
Scheduled ground school classes are held every few months according to a pre-decided time table. Lectures are held in a group setting. There is a cost advantage in attending with a group. One-on-one lectures can be booked anytime.
To commence flight training for a PPL license, candidates need to hold a valid and current GCAA Class II medical. The medical test(s) are administered by GCAA-certified aeromedical examiners. EAS can provide students with a list of doctors in the U.A.E.

U.A.E. is centrally located between the East and the West and provides virtually 365 days of great fying weather. Flying in Dubai & U.A.E. provides a fun and challenging environment for fight training as students are trained in the midst of real-time commercial operations from one of the busiest airports in the world. All airports in the U.A.E. are fully equipped with navigation and approach aids like ILS (Instrument Landing System), and being familiar with these right from day one churns out proficient pilots, and is an advantage especially when the time comes to enter the job market.
EAS requires that an EAS instructor be on board for all hire & fly fights.
EAS is not currently providing student loans or scholarships.
